Tiny Steps Learning Center is expanding and seeking passionate Preschool Lead Teachers to join our team. We provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Position Overview:
The Lead Teacher will educate and care for children ages 3 to 5, teaching reading, writing, science, and other subjects in an age-appropriate manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Physical caregiving and developmental assessments.
- Following the curricular plan.
- Building supportive relationships with staff, parents, and students.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with preschool children in a daycare setting.
- Associate Degree in Education or current CDA certification (Preferred).
- Strong understanding of child development and preschool educational methods.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times per day.
- Willingness to submit to background checks.
- CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Available to work full-time, including as late as 5:30 pm (Depending on the work shift assigned).
- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.

- Implement curriculum with creativity and innovation.
- Serve as a positive role model.
- Prepare children for kindergarten.
- Foster social and emotional development.
- Maintain a clean and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and delegate tasks.
- Create engaging lesson plans and track progress.
- Uphold Tiny Steps' values and comply with childcare laws.
