About the Job
The Position
Under the direction of the Athletics Program Coordinator, the Preschool/Youth Sports Instructor is responsible for high quality lessons and participant engagement. This individual must maintain high personal standards and adhere to and carry out the mission of the Greater Midland Community Center.
Major Job Responsibilities
? Ensure high quality programs that are results-based driven, with proper planning and engaging lesson plans.
? Work cooperatively, positively, enthusiastically and professionally with all program participants, parents, Greater Midland Staff and Volunteers.
? Ensure that facilities, equipment and supplies are secured for each program session.
? Ensure that character development is present in all programs (caring, honesty, respect, responsibility).
? Complete, in a timely manner, all requests from supervisor in the achievements of department and center goals/objectives.
Qualifications
? CPR / First Aid / AED; preferred.
? Minimum age of 15.
? Excellent people skills; ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.
? Strong verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
? Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
? Ability to continuously physically engage at a child's level
