Position Responsibilities:
We are looking for a 2nd Shift experienced Press Brake Operator to support the production team. This position is instrumental in shaping the future of automation. Operating cutting-edge Trumpf TruBend machinery, they adeptly utilize press brakes to bend and form metal sheets with precision, following exact specifications from blueprints and schematics. Possessing a keen eye for detail and expertise in blueprint interpretation, press brake operators play a crucial role in crafting high-quality components.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate Trumpf brakes and other machinery used in the production process or assist other machine operators.
- Select proper tools and dies based on material thickness and type.
- Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
- Follow exact specifications from blueprints and schematics.
- Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use.
- Use measurement equipment to verify quality of work.
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Operate a forklift to lift and/or move raw materials and final products.
- Consistently produce usable products that meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawings and schematics.
- Understand and comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
- Track all parts and jobs into the SAP system.
- Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Maintain housekeeping and general cleanup duties throughout the site.
- Completes work priorities as assigned by supervisors.
- Perform other such duties as may be required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- The ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Attention to detail and focus oriented.
- Knowledge of using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Good knowledge of how to safely operate pneumatic, hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to solve basic math calculations.
- Well organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Work well with others and work as a team.
- Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced work environment.
- Display and maintain enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
- Must cooperate with other associates in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications: conveniently
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience operating Press Brake machinery.
