Press Operator - 3rd Shift

The Press Operator will be responsible for the program, set up and operation of the Engico multifunction dual size press.  Communicates with the supervisor regarding Engico Press quality and any related problems.  Performs all duties in a safe manner, while wearing all required PPE and immediately reports any safety concern to the supervisor. 

I.Major Responsibilities

Understand and communicate to crew members all information on the factory card, CAD and print card.

Fully competent in all positions assigned to the Engico press to include performing inventories of tooling items and Operational basic care items when required.

Use Factory card to program, set-up and run production with Engico press.

Troubleshoot operational and maintenance issues. 

Perform all required quality checks, before and during production, this includes quality sampling plan (1 box) per unit, strike offs (print and measurements) color match checks, PH Level and viscosity readings to ensure materials meets or exceeds customer expectations.  

Supports and assists other crew members and tasks.

Performs daily cleanup of Engico Press and work area. 

Attend all safety training provided by the employer.

Fill in for shift supervisor when needed.

II.Background Requirements

Education and Experience:

-2 yrs related experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read a tape measure to within 1/16th of an inch.
