Job Description

Position Summary: Perform necessary functions to ensure that work orders are produced as required on the traveler (job card) and in accordance with company approved methods.

Responsibilities:
The scope of responsibilities includes but not limited to:

• Check oil levels of machine and notifying supervision of any maintenance issues
• Turning on machine
• Turn on and controlling temperature of furnace
• Read work order traveler (job card) for specific instructions
• Check and bringing in tooling set up
• Check to verify correct material before loading into furnace
• Operate press controls
• Ensure parts are ran properly
• Remove head from base and check size
• Mark job number and material on pressed head
• Make decisions regarding use of clamp
• Operate furnace to heat treat material as required
• Sign off on traveler (job card)
• Train press helper to become an operator
• Cleanliness of work area

Days: Monday through Friday (will work every other Saturday)
Hours: 1st shift hours - 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
2nd Shift hours – 3:30 pm to 2:00 am/Shift Diff. $1.50 hr./total pay $22.97 hr.
3rd shift hours – 2:00 am to 12:30 pm/Shift Diff. $2.50 hr./total pay $23.97 hr.
(working 10 – 20 hrs. overtime or more weekly – overtime accumulates after 8 hrs. a day)
