Printing Press Operator (Flexo & Wide-Web)

The Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for operating state-of-the-art flexographic (flexo) and wide-web printing presses. You'll ensure high-quality production runs while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain flexo and wide-web printing presses
• Read and interpret job specifications to determine printing requirements
• Load paper rolls, adjust settings, and mix inks to achieve optimal printing quality
• Monitor printing processes, identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate records of production runs and press performance
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience operating flexo and wide-web printing presses (required)
• Strong understanding of printing principles and processes
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be flexible and willing to work various shifts, including nights and weekends (training and placement needs)
