Title: Prevention Services Assistant Manager (PSAM)
Reports to: Prevention Services Manager (PSM)
Position Overview:
The PSAM will support the management and implementation of all areas of the Prevention Services Department. The PSAM oversees all data entry, database, and related functions. They assist with the department’s reporting duties and organizational and administrative activities. They also provide support leading navigators/coordinators to meet program goals, oversee calendars, semi-annual reports, and other administrative functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the Prevention Services Department.
- Collaborate with the PSM to develop and implement program policies and procedures.
- Ensure that services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support the training and supervision of staff across all prevention programs.
- Assist in scheduling staff and coordinating daily activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in the onboarding processes to enhance team performance.
- Help plan and execute outreach initiatives to raise awareness of prevention services.
- Foster partnerships with organizations and community to promote program accessibility.
- Identify areas of improvement from program data i.e. client feedback and service metrics
- Prepare summaries and presentations on program performance for stakeholders.
- Support the management of condom and prevention material distribution efforts to ensure availability at key community sites.
- Assist PSM with logistics for the HIV/STI mobile testing unit, including scheduling outreach events for community engagement and coordinating staff assignments.
- Help PSM in developing, organizing, and delivering training sessions and informational resources to staff and community partners on Prevention Services.
- Aid in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Participate in regular program reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Identifying areas for program enhancement and implementing feedback mechanisms.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to program activities.
- Assist PSM and DOPS in budgeting and resource management for prevention programs.
- Assist in projects assigned by the PSM, including grant writing or research initiatives.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in HIV/STI prevention and treatment
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in Public Health, HIV/STI prevention, or related filed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse groups
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data management and basic reporting tools.
- Comfortable speaking in groups & able to engage the public in outreach situation
