Description:
The Pricing Analyst reports to the Director of Contracts and supports other Pricing and Proposal staff to develop pricing solutions (FPLOE, FFP, CPFF) that respond to the requirements of a Government or Federal Prime Contractor's Request for Quote, Request for Pricing, or other pricing related solicitation.
Responsibilities :
- Accumulate data and prepare the pricing response in MS Excel or solicitation designated forms and format both sanitized and unsanitized volumes.
- Develop cost narratives in MS Word that explain, define, quantify the pricing data to be cost reasonable, cost effective, and cost realistic.
- Respond to any other pricing requirements specified by the solicitation.
- Provide pricing experience and knowledge to the capture planning sessions for major procurements.
- Verify and validate that the final pricing product is in compliance with all solicitation requirements, company policy, and applicable laws.
- Coordinate accumulations of data from various program and functional areas, subcontractor and vendors.
- Identify potential financial risks associated with the pricing strategy.
- Ensure all cost proposals are submitted in accordance with company policies, Government oversight organization (e.g., DCAA) policies, and the requirements of the solicitation.
- Support submitted cost proposal audits as required to prime contractors, the Government, and/or DCAA/DCMA.
- Coordinate pricing actions with subcontractors to ensure their proposals are consistent with the company's proposal strategy.
- Support the Program team by assessing, evaluating and determining customer requirements from a pricing perspective.
- Coordinate proposal package with legal, program, and division management.
- Institute quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure the quality of work performed meets regulatory, contract and Company requirements.
- Provide reports according to Company requirements.
- Support obtaining consent to subcontract by providing needed information to support the Contracting Officer's determination.
- Support PowerPoint briefings to company management in support of Bid Decisions.; Costpoint Experience Preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and eight years of related experience.
- Bachelors' degree and eight years of relevant experience developing pricing strategy for GSA, Army, T&M, CPFF, CPAF and FFP jobs, along with a thorough knowledge of the FAR; experience with budgets and cost controls is preferred.
- Four years of experience in developing pricing strategies for a Federal Contractor responding to RFP pricing requirements.
- Four years of experience with all of the following types of RFPs or contracts: CPFF, T&M, FPLOE, FFP.
- Perform at a level 4 out of 5 in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
