We are seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to support accurate and efficient pricing and data management processes. This role is essential in ensuring that all pricing data meets customer requirements, maintaining the master pricing database, and performing detailed analysis to support internal teams and customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong analytical skills, and have expertise in Excel and data management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the master pricing database, ensuring accurate and timely updates for all product SKUs.
- Enter, verify, and update pricing and production data across customer systems, following up to resolve missing or unclear information.
- Track and manage quotation logs and ensure accurate communication of quote status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and support account managers in gathering and entering quote information.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Production, Engineering, and Quality Control, to ensure accuracy in pricing and feasibility of quotes.
- Organize and prepare detailed quote files, submitting them for management review and approval.
- Conduct data analysis, including time studies and cost analysis, to verify labor standards and production efficiency.
- Perform periodic audits on pricing data, including post-quote analyses and regular price updates.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, addressing pricing inquiries or adjustments in a professional manner.
- Support the development and refinement of process documentation and job aids for pricing workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar pricing, quoting, or data analysis role, preferably within a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with data management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of organizational capability.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cost structures, pricing methodologies, and an understanding of financial calculations, such as rates, ratios, and percentages.
