About the Job
Responsibilities
- Supports pricing process within GBP Division.
- Coordinates bids as assigned, including but not limited to National Accounts and In-Store.
- Review and adjust estimates for errors in pricing process.
- Apply pricing to estimates and approve within authority level (comparable items, quantity changes, etc.)
- Sends pricing for approval outside of authority level to Pricing Manager.
- Coordinate price increases and decreases within division.
- Coordinate cost saving customer initiatives when initiated by sales or sales management.
- Analyze customer pricing feedback to determine competitiveness.
- Assist estimating as deemed necessary by management.
- Special projects assigned by management.
- Review bookings to ensure approved pricing was used in order entry.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of customer service and/or estimating experience.
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners.
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required of this position.
- Knowledge of our product and processes.
