Job Details
The Primary Care Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations within the primary care division.
This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing clinical staff, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve healthcare services.
1. Clinical Leadership:
- Provide primary care services to adult patients on-site, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.
- Oversee clinical supervision and support for primary care and family practice providers.
- Participate in a rotating 24-hour phone-based call system for urgent patient communications and hospital admissions.
2. Quality Improvement:
- Actively engage in quality improvement programs to enhance patient safety, service excellence, and program growth.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to represent our company in relevant forums and coalitions.
3. Teaching and Training:
- Precept students, residents, and medical staff during elective rotations.
- Maintain eligibility for medical staff credentialing by obtaining a minimum of 50 CME credits annually.
4. Administrative Duties:
- Conduct interviews, training, and performance evaluations for clinical staff.
- Manage administrative tasks such as quality assurance and compliance audits.
