Job Overview - Primary Care Physician:
Join our client's dynamic healthcare team as a Primary Care Physician in either Queens or Brooklyn, NY, providing and overseeing comprehensive care at a Diagnostic and Treatment Center. In this full-time role, you'll collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-quality community health services.
Compensation: $210,000 - $240,000/year
Location: Queens, NY, or Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities as the Primary Care Physician:
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee patient care as the primary provider, conducting assessments and treatments in both center and home settings while guiding clinical decisions.
- Collaboration: Partner with nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other staff to manage patient care, participate in case conferences, and lead care planning.
- Quality Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance care quality, optimize resource use, and spearhead preventive health efforts, including screenings and immunization programs.
- Engagement: Cultivate relationships with local specialists and community physicians to expand patient care options and support community health initiatives.
- Compliance: Train staff and trainees, provide clinical guidance, participate in quality assurance activities, and uphold medical standards.
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Certification: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Geriatric Medicine expertise preferred).
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State medical license required.
- Experience: Background in primary or geriatric care with a commitment to patient-centered approaches.
- Skills: Leadership, communication, and a focus on clinical excellence.
