The ideal candidate is a mechanical engineer with experience in product/project development, injection molding, design verification, and validation
The candidate is comfortable navigating Quality Management Systems for Medical Device, associated EDMS systems (Agile), and has experience with product/component development using CAD software (SolidWorks)

The person filling this role will become part of a dynamic and fast paced Hardware R&D group, creating close working relationships with multiple departments (Quality, Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, et

The candidate possesses a strong command of technical communication, is comfortable processing and explaining complicated data output, and is accountable for results

Nice to Have Product development experience within the Medical Device IndustryExperience in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for mechanical design, analysis, and documentation. 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry Strong technical communication skills Experience with physical testing of mechanical systems/components and failure analysis to determine root cause of failures.Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and methodologies Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) practices per ASME Y14.5-2009 Experience designing and developing assembly processes for mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
