What You Will Do
Raytheon, an RTX business, is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer, Change Management Lead professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in assessing and responding to RFP (Request for Proposal), RFC (Request for Change), and ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) requests from the government customer. The Change Management Lead will be the team lead responsible for soliciting, coordinating, and consolidating inputs from cross-functional teams, as well as developing the artifacts required to respond to customer RFP, RFC, and ROM requests. The Change Management Lead will serve as a direct interface to the customer during reviews, briefings, and technical exchanges are necessary to fully understand and successfully respond to customer change requests, as well as Raytheon senior leadership to obtain concurrence prior to presenting a proposed solution to the customer
Satellite ground system development and Agile Best Practice methodologies are preferred as well. The position is an onsite role in Aurora, CO.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Prior experience with assessing and responding to proposals including proposal generation, evaluation, reviews, pricing, quality checks, and submissions of proposals
- Strong customer coordination skills, as well as possess the ability to coordinate and consolidate inputs from cross-functional teams
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; able to brief both Raytheon senior leadership and the customer on a proposed solution
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Satellite ground system development experience
- Experience with large-scale Agile Software development process
- Ability to work hand-in-hand with our government counterparts to coordinate, structure, and shape future growth of the program
- Ability to work independently and provide technical direction to team members
- Ability to assess, recommend, and champion areas for improvement in the overall change management process

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
