Job Title: Principal GNC Engineer ILocation: Broomfield, COZip Code: 80021Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct Hire - US Citizenhip requiredPay Rate: $140-170K DoE Keywords: #PrincipalGNCEngineer #EngineeringJobs #SpacecraftEngineer JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Lead a small team in the design and analysis of GNC systems for satellites and payloads. * Responsible for Guidance, Navigation, and Control through all stages of design, integration, test, and operations. * Perform trade studies, lead design reviews, create models, and complete simulations and system testing. * Build, test, and fly hardware and software.* Work on a small team to develop satellites and put them in orbit. * Will present engineering design review materials to our customers and executive team, as well as participate in proposal-writing efforts.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Master's degree of Science with 10 years of experience OR* PhD in Aerospace Engineering with 7 years of experience * Must have end to end GNC Design experience* Low earth orbit satellite experience* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* CubeSat and SmallSat experience* Hands-on experience with spacecraft instrumentation, subsystems, and test labs* Experience with multiple mission simulation and flight architectures which drives your vision for the nextgeneration of space software* Experience in LEO, MEO, GEO, and deep space satellites* Experience with communications payloadsIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
