Principal I&C Engineer - Oil & Gas/ Heavy Industry Sectors

Gryphon Oakwood are currently headhunting for a Principal/Senior I&C Engineer. Responsibilities of this role will include developing various deliverables such as Instrument

Indexes, Datasheets, Cable Schedules, System Architecture Drawings, and electrical deliverables up to 480VAC, and more. You will also develop requisitioning documentation, technical bid tabulations, and supplier documents, and attend FAT & SAT for control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Performs I&C engineering tasks with direct oversight from senior engineers.
• Develops Instrumentation deliverables such as Instrument Indexes, Datasheets, Cable Schedules, Panel Layout & Wiring Drawings, Loop Drawings, Location Plans, etc.
• Develops automation deliverables such as System Architecture Drawings, I/O Lists, Alarm Lists, C&Es, Control Narratives, SIL Verification, etc.
• Develops electrical deliverables up to 480VAC such as Motor Schematics, Panel Schedules, Switchgear design, One-lines, Cable Schedules, etc.
• Attends studies and reviews such as HAZOP, LOPA, & Alarm Rationalization.
• Develops I&C Requisitioning Documentation, Technical Bid Tabulations and Supplier Documents.
• Attends FAT & SAT for control systems at manufacturer or plant site.
• Assists with field surveys to document existing conditions.
• Works with project teams, Clients, and Suppliers to resolve I&C technical issues.
