About the Job
HE ROLE:
As Principal Product Manager - I, you will play a critical part in driving the success of our products, taking ownership of the product lifecycle from inception to delivery. As Lead Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, gather customer insights, and make data-driven decisions to craft the product roadmap.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback, user data, and market insights to drive product innovation and improvement.
• Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable product features and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Define and supervise key product performance metrics, demonstrating data to advise decision-making.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to build seamless and intuitive user experiences.
• Drive go-to-market strategies, collaborating with marketing and sales teams for successful product launches.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with other product teams, making key decisions to resolve conflicts across the products in a large portfolio
• Identify and supervise KPIs of projects pre and post-production and report the findings
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, data analysts and functional team members; proven track record to provide the voice of the customer
• Solid understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and standard processes.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Good understanding of technical concepts and the ability to work with Engineering teams.
• Ability to lead requirements gathering, story mapping, and running requirements workshops with strategic stakeholders
• Ability to influence and align relevant stakeholders
Experience:
• 4+ years of work experience working on Product or Program management, product marketing, business development or technology (overall 5 years of experience in product/business-oriented role)
• 2+ years of people management experience (if required in some cases based on the need as an exception).
• 2+ years working experience in Scrum and Agile SDLC models
• Experience writing and managing user stories with product management tools like Jira/AzureDevOps
• Understanding of enterprise and consumer technology concepts including client/server languages and architectures, Digital Asset and Content Management systems, ERP systems, CRM, SCM, Database, cloud architectures, web and mobile application development, transactional and non-transactional database concepts, etc.
• Experience in managing complex software product lifecycles, from concept to launch.
Education:
• Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent
