Job Summary:
BCP/DR Trusted Advisor to clients with responsible for developing and driving the infrastructure roadmap for clients as their enterprise architect providing strategies including hybrid-cloud, standardization and Designing and implementing modernization of legacy environments. Wide spread in Infrastructure (servers, Storage, Virtualization, DR methodologies, knowledge including Project Management Skill. DRI certified Business continuity planner preferred. Minimum 15 years of deep infrastructure experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The candidate must have a strong specialized skillset with knowledge and experience and responsible for:
Primary Skill:
Hands-on experience in DR orchestration recover tool specifically Perpetuuiti Continuity Patrol and Zerto for DR replication Should have knowledge on data replication & data sync between different DCs & DR sites Solid understanding of Network connectivity concepts. TCP/IP TCP Ports, VLANS, IP addressing, firewalls concepts Demonstrated understanding of Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity including processes and understanding of sequenced recovery of Information Technology systems both on-premise and Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) Understanding of IT infrastructure predominantly on virtual and physical Servers & storage either block, hyperconverged using vSAN, Zerto for migration and Disaster recovery Hands -on in VMware, block Storage (Hitachi, Dell EMC, NetApp) configurations Able to identify the requirement from the Storage & data replication perspective Able to work on Virtual machines on environments like VMware/ Red Hat or FAB specific virtual environment Additional requirements: ITIL process specific to change tickets/request Good to have certification from DRII Associate or Certified Business Continuity Planner (ACBP, CBCP) or equivalent Minimum 7 years IT VMware/storage including DR configuration and testing Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills Self-motivated and detail oriented Knowledge of business impact analysis methodologies
Secondary Skills:
VMware SRM configuration and operation with storage replication
