The ideal candidate will have experience managing assigned project(s) and oversee all aspects of a project from defining requirements to evaluating project deliverables. The functional lead will be the primary point of contact for the Engineering Program Chief and will work closely with the Value Stream Leader (VSL) to assure the assigned project remains on budget and schedule. This position will be in a multi-disciplinary team environment and will need to be able to thrive on tackling challenges, as the position requires the use of problem-solving skills in a hands-on work environment to address problems and implement appropriate design or process changes.What You Will Do:Drive the team to complete all technical scope assigned to them on a projectKeep the team within schedule and budgetCommunicate issues, risks, dependencies to the other discipline Leads and Program ChiefsWork with the Program Chiefs to be a technical focal and point of contact for other teamsReport monthly Earned value status, Risk/Opportunities, prepare Technical Program Reviews (TPR’s)Plan and update monthly sprintsRun team Stand-up and Focus of the Week meetingsThe functional leads primary responsibility is that of meeting program expectations. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
