Job Description
Designs and develops processes for manufacturing clinical and commercial tissue products.
Investigates and evaluates existing technology; designs and implements new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
Interfaces with various departments to ensure processes and designs are compatible for new product technology transfer.
Leads project teams in developing sterilization validation strategies.
Actively collaborate with the project teams to support the execution of successful project studies.
Develop the design and specifications for process control systems
Support IQ / OQ development and participate in systems analysis, validation, and verification.
Leverage expertise in microbiology, sterilization and manufacturing to support new product development and represent organizations in regulatory inspections / audits.
Monitors the performance of processes and equipment and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering or related field with 18+years process development experience in a regulated industry.
- PreferredMasters degree in Engineering or related field with 16+ years experience or PhD with 10+years experience
Job Skills/ Experience Required:
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to define appropriate actions in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria
- Demonstrates advanced engineering principles, practices and specialized technical understanding of proprietary information; challenges and influences engineering design.
- Provides the highest level of process technology support to project teams, function or department
- Communicates at all levels and delivers highly technical information in a clear and easy-to-understand way
Cognitive Skills:
- Leads multiple problem solving teams including the design of problem solving techniques; Incorporates both technical knowledge and business acumen when solving problems
Ownership/ Accountability:
- Pushes research in new directions with novel experiments and reports on findings to internal and external groups
Decision Making/ Impact:
- Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.; results have significant impact on major organizational objectives and affect the image of the organizations technological capability
