This is a full-time W2 position, with no subcontracting or C2C.

Overview:

DataSoft Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Process/ Mechanical Engineer to join our client in Greenville, SC. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction to assigned engineers
• Conduct construction document reviews as required
• Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup
• Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
• Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design
• Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years' experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design
• Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
