Principal Software Engineer - Redshift Recruiting LLC

Embark on an exciting journey as a Principal Software Engineer, leveraging your expertise in backend development and AWS management to propel a thriving startup! Full-time in the Latham area.

Responsibilities of the Principal Software Engineer will include:*Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, development, and unit testing phases.
*Drive improvements and innovations within development, identifying and delivering enhancements.
*Provide comprehensive estimates for technical solutions and ensure high-quality design and construction.
*Contribute to backend node.js APIs, react web UIs, and docker-based infrastructure; oversee AWS management, including databases and server less functions.
*Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Principal Software Engineer:*Over a decade of professional development experience, including leadership.
*Proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, and Javascript, with hands-on experience.
*Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (CDK).
*Extensive knowledge of ORM and MySQL databases, ensuring development standards, code quality, and security.
*Familiarity with security compliance standards (SOC2), observability tools (New Relic), and agile development practices.
*Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
