Work Location: Atlanta, GA - 100% Remote, will consider candidates from the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Description:- Design end-to-end solutions that integrate various healthcare systems, applications, and data sources to improve operational efficiency and patient care
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the strategic vision and roadmap for healthcare technology initiatives, aligning them with business objectives and industry trends
- Lead the architectural design process, from initial concept to detailed specifications and implementation plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and guide a team of healthcare solutions architects, providing coaching and support to enhance their skills and capabilities
- Define and document enterprise solution architecture principles, standards, and guidelines, and ensure their adoption across all IT projects and initiatives, and alignment with the governance process
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in healthcare technology by evaluating emerging trends, tools, and methodologies, and incorporating them into solution designs
- Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and FHIR, and ensure compliance in all solutions
- Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and 3rd party agencies, to understand their requirements and provide strategic guidance on technology solutions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years in a related IT or Engineering discipline Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience architecting solutions using cloud-native services
- Strong understanding of HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards and protocols, with experience integrating disparate healthcare systems and data sources
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, HL7 FHIR Proficiency) preferred.
