Salary: Full-time at $155,000 with an opportunity for bonus
On-site Requirements: Full-time on-site in Brentwood, TN with some travel involved
Responsibilities:
Leads the administration and maintenance of Microsoft-based infrastructure (including but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Azure, and Hyper-V environments) through system upgrades, patch management, and tuning
Oversees Meraki Cloud networking by configuring Meraki-managed switches, wireless access points, and security appliances, operating Meraki dashboard deployments, and working with VPN configuration, firewall rule implementation, and layer 3 routing
Designs, implements, and maintains high-availability solutions and disaster recovery plans for all Microsoft-based systems and Meraki Cloud networking while developing strategies for server consolidation, virtualization, and cloud migration using Azure, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
Ensures all systems comply with industry security standards and best practices as well as regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) while implementing and enforcing policies across the Enterprise
Provides Tier 3 support for complex technical issues related to Windows-based systems, Microsoft applications, and Meraki Cloud networking; performs root cause analysis on system failures and takes corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Serves as a technical mentor to junior administrators, leads technical discussions and projects across various IT teams (network, database, application), and develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation
- 8+ years experience managing Microsoft infrastructure environments in an enterprise setting.
- Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, M365
- Azure cloud, Hyper-V/VMware
- PowerShell scripting, TCP/IP networking, firewalls, load balancing, SCCM, Intune
- Certifications - Azure Admin Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL, among others highly preferred
- Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage direct reports
