About the Role:
Intelliforce is seeking a talented Systems Engineer II (SE2) to join our Integration Team. We’re looking for someone with strong Kubernetes experience who can troubleshoot distributed applications and work with a variety of modern tools and platforms. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! While we are sourcing for an SE2, we will also consider SE1 candidates with a strong background in Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Kubernetes installation and maintenance (Rancher/RKE/K3S preferred)
- Work with large OpenSearch installations
- Troubleshoot distributed applications
- Administer and maintain NiFi systems
- Write and manage Salt scripts for configuration management
- Write and maintain Helm charts
- Utilize Git for version control and code management
- Manage monitoring and performance metrics using Influx, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Work with Kafka distributed event store and stream processing platforms
- Support the Ceph storage platform
Key Technologies & Skills:
- Kubernetes: 3 years of hands-on experience (Rancher/RKE/K3S preferred)
- OpenSearch: Experience with large-scale installations
- NiFi Administration: Basic admin skills required
- Salt Scripting: Experience with Salt for configuration management
- Helm: Strong experience writing and maintaining Helm charts
- Git: Basic experience with Git version control
- Monitoring & Metrics: Experience with Influx, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Kafka: Experience with distributed event store and stream processing
- Ceph Storage: Hands-on experience with Ceph storage platform

Qualifications:
- Principal Level: 20 years of SE experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or 5 years of additional experience without a degree). Lead teams in developing, integrating, and testing complex systems. Oversee requirements analysis, system architecture development, and end-to-end flow analysis. Develop comprehensive SOA solutions.
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
