JOB TITLE: PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER
JOB LOCATION: HANSCOM AFB, BEDFORD, MA
WAGE RANGE*: 105.00-110.00 PER HOUR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role would primarily be responsible for Requirements Definition and Analysis Management, support of Design Reviews, and risk/opportunity management as it pertains to addressing Obsolescence Engineering aspects.
This role will be working in cooperation with several other companies, all collaboratively working towards successful developments, integrations, and demonstrations of the Phalanx Griffon technology. A successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and strong interpersonal, as well as the capacity to communicate technically across engineers with a variety of disciplines and breadth/depth of focus. The role is expected to be primarily onsite in a secure facility at the cited location (although some ad hoc flexibility may be available if working on specific unclassified tasking). Further, the role is expected to require TS/SCI clearance on day 1.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Must have a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the TS/SCI level
• Demonstrates empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve
• Showcases excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work well with others in a professional team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated systems engineering experience with aerospace systems, having performed requirements development, decomposition, and associated integration, verification, and validation processes
• Background in risk/opportunity management
• Background in obsolescence engineering
• Demonstrates the ability to think both tactically and strategically when solving problems
• Showcases excellent organizational skills and the ability to balancing priorities and schedules • Has experience working effectively in highly collaborative environments and a demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and technical efforts spanning multiple stakeholders
