AECOM is seeking a Principal Water Resources Engineer in San Diego, California to focus on a wide variety of water resources projects including dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.
• Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
• Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.
• Leads technical business development work.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Approves and signs off on work.
• Leader in one or more areas of technology.
• Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

• 20+ years of relevant civil/geotechnical engineering experience
• Experience performing civil/geotechnical design for water resources projects
• Project management experience
• Active California PE License or Geotechnical GE License
