The primary role of the material handler position is to distribute materials throughout the production floor, scanning product, and moving it to specified locations while operating powered industrial
trucks in a safe manner.
- 12 Hr Shift 4:50am to 5:00pm (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
- $2.25/hr shift differential; profit sharing bonus eligible
- Report to front line leadership.
- Communicate between shifts to anticipate & prepare for any production concerns
- Stock machines with correct materials by reading, interpreting and processing lot information and material type.
- Move product to and from appropriate machines to WIP area or Warehouse area.
- Verify ID stickers and carton labels using hand held scanner.
- Assist Palletizer or Shipping as needed.
- Stock warehouse with product as needed
- Maintain lot documentation when moving scrap.
- Report any non-conformances to front line leadership.
- Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning as assigned/required

- Work & perform to ISO standards, SOPs & established Work Instructions
- Uphold Quality Standards & follow the Absolutes.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to safety
standards. - Conduct required safety reviews of equipment and processes prior to project start-up.
- Support the accomplishment of your work groups through the quality, timeliness and
professionalism of your attitude. - Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting.

- Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency of
your work. - Oversee work to ensure projects are completed.

- Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
- Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Capable of lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly.
- Capable of operating a forklift in a safe and cautious manner to the satisfaction of the supervisor; six months of forklift driving experience required.
- Previous experience in material handling or shipping/receiving preferred.
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Bump Cap or Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask.
- Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime.
- Some computer skills with ability to interpret work orders
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Negative drug screen results.
- Work in a safe manner
