The Print Operator ensures the timely and accurate reproduction of printed materials; advises, coordinates and prioritizes production of work orders, reviews copyright materials and maintains accurate and complete records; determines equipment repair schedule; maintains supply inventory and resolves staff and customer service issues for the Copy Center.
Responsibilities:
- Trouble shoot equipment issues, and request/monitor service repairs
- Perform Digital Printing, Finishing, and Perform Quality Controls.
- Manage the inventory and replenishment of supplies.
- Use of equipment must be consistent with company approved Code of Business Conduct
- compliance with corporate, safety, security and regulatory policies.
- Maintains work areas in a clean, safe and organized state including all work rooms
- Must have good working knowledge of multi-function printer devices
- Must have good working knowledge of computer basics
- Ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed by communicating critical issues to Manager without delay
- Provide problem resolution ensuring the highest levels of customer care.
- Collect data for reports
- Ensures equipment is in good working order, equipment maintenance
- Keeps manager informed of operational efficiencies and potential problems
- May be required to work overtime periodically
- Able to set priorities
- Must be flexible to adapt to changes
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of 2 years Mail/Print services related experience preferred with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures.
- 1-3 years experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle mail or hand cart, as well as flatbed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
