Job Summary
Acts as both inside and outside sales representative and customer service representative
Sells printing services on campus
Responsibilities
1
Writes up orders and estimates received via email, phone, web ordering and in person from clients, accurately and in a timely manner

Responds promptly to inquiries and client requests
Maintain existing customer relationships and work to create new customer relationships

When appropriate, advise customers on best strategies to achieve their desired outcomes
Works with purchasing when outsourcing is required and ordering paper as needed, following all state and University purchasing procedures

Works closely with production staff and management regarding production schedules and with specific job requirements
5
Works with management in establishing printing service, sales, and marketing goals by defining client’s needs and overseeing all aspects of the printing processes to improve client experience

Minimum Qualifications
Four years experience in printing, estimating, and marketing, or related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated communications skills; and a commitment to providing excellent customer service required

1-2 years’ experience in the Graphic Communications / Printing Industry

Communicates well with the public in a professional manner

Self-starter who can work independently or with a team

Ability to think quickly and solve problems

Attention to detail is a must

Customer service experience required

Sales Experience
8
Knowledge of postal specifications and mail requirements

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

Experience with a CRM (customer relationship management) or MIS (management information system) is preferred
