Job Summary
ThePrivacyTechnicalAnalystisresponsibleforconfiguring,maintaining,andoptimizingtheOneTrustplatformtosupportprivacy,compliance,anddatagovernanceinitiatives.ThisrolewillbepartoftheAEG Global TechnologyPrivacyTeamcollaboratingwith,legal,security,marketingandsales,operations,andITteamstoensuretheplatformisalignedwithorganizationalpolicies,regulatoryrequirements,andbestpractices.
Essential Functions
- Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the OneTrust modules (such as Data Mapping, Assessment Automation, Consent Management, Cookie Banners, Data Subject Rights, Privacy Impact Assessments, Policy and Notice Management , etc.) to meet business and regulatory requirements. Manage and implement all cookie consent banners working with various business stakeholders across AEG.
- System Optimization & Integration: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of the OneTrust platform, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation. Work with IT and other departments to integrate the OneTrust platform with other enterprise systems (e.g., HR systems, CRM, data management platforms) as needed.
- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the OneTrust platform by managing data imports, exports, and regular data reconciliation processes.
- Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end users, ensuring they understand how to use the OneTrust platform effectively.
- Compliance Monitoring: Collaborate with internal business partners and clients to ensure the platform is configured to monitor and report on compliance with global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Policy and Process Development: Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, policies, procedures, and user guides related to the OneTrust platform.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the OneTrust platform in a timely manner, coordinating with OneTrust support if necessary.
- Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making related to privacy, compliance, and data governance.
- Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact with OneTrust for support, feature requests, and enhancements.
- Audit: Conduct random audits of system, vendors, or applications that integrate with OneTrust to confirm integrations are working appropriately.
- Data Subject Rights: Oversee all Data Subject Rights requests received are honored in the appropriate time required by privacy regulations.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) Undergraduate or graduate degree in relevant fields such as law, information privacy, information technology, or elated discipline.
- 4-6 years experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or IT administration.
- 2+ years in administering and managing the OneTrust platform or similar privacy and management software.
- Proven experience with privacy Saas platform, OneTrust.
- Experience supporting compliance initiatives for CASL, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, GDPR
- Experience working with various departments such as Legal, Marketing, and IT/Digital, showcasing the capability to align privacy goals across an organization
- Experience Project Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Experience in a global highly matrixed and fast paced environment preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and their application to technology and governance solutions.
- Strong understanding of the OneTrust platform, including experience configuring and customizing modules such as Data Mapping, Data Subject Requests (DSR), Cookie Consent, Incident Management, Vendor Risk Management, and more.
- Understanding the role privacy has in supporting internal and commercial marketing activities in a large enterprise.
- In depth knowledge of relevant privacy and data protection laws, regulations, and standards.
- Strong project management skills leading complex privacy-centric projects on a large scale, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Possess fluency in the languages of technology, business, and legal realms.
- Ability to build relationships across large and complex organizations
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting, in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
- Proven self-starter and ability to work independently if necessary
- Detail-oriented and with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in working with APIs and integrating software platforms.
- Familiarity with data management tools, database queries, and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- CIPP/US, CIPP/EU and/or CIPM Certification preferred.
- OneTrust certification(s) (e.g., OneTrust Certified Professional, OneTrust Certified Expert) preferred
Pay Scale: $95,000 - $120,000
