Summary:
The Private Banking Associate supports Private Bankers in managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families, providing personalized financial solutions and ensuring the highest level of client service. The associate is involved in client relationship management, assisting with account maintenance, investment portfolios, lending services, and day-to-day banking needs. This role also plays a crucial part in facilitating communication between the client and various bank departments to deliver comprehensive wealth management services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Private Bankers in managing client relationships by addressing client inquiries, coordinating meetings, and preparing financial documentation for review.
- Manage client accounts by ensuring timely execution of transactions, updating client information, and assisting with account reviews and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with the Private Banking team to develop and execute tailored financial strategies, including investment planning, lending solutions, and estate planning for high-net-worth clients.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all client requests are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with the processing of investment trades, wire transfers, loan applications, and other financial transactions in a compliant and efficient manner.
- Assist in portfolio management by monitoring client investments, preparing reports on portfolio performance, and analyzing financial statements for review by senior bankers.
- Work closely with various departments, including investment management, trust services, and credit teams, to ensure seamless delivery of client services.
- Ensure that all client interactions and financial transactions adhere to the bank's compliance policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and client meetings.
- Support the Private Banking team with prospecting and business development efforts by preparing presentations, gathering market data, and assisting in client onboarding.
- Help onboard new clients by assisting with the documentation process, gathering necessary financial information, and ensuring a smooth transition for new clients.
- Assist in all other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of banking products, investments, and lending services.
- Excellent client service and communication skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial reporting and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
