Position Summary:
Performs various assignments to assist and support the Private Banking Department in the overall daily operations of our group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.
1. To assist the private banking team in client service issues.
2. To assist the private banking team to problem solve and follow up with clients.
3. Assist Private Bankers in portfolio management of existing loans, gather documents and communicate to banker and credit team efficiently.
4. Assists Bankers to develop and maintains prospect calling lists.
5. Directs loan documentation and booking preparation.
6. Adheres to all bank compliance as it relates to different products.
7. Helps to monitor and administer the existing Private Banking Portfolio.
8. Helps Private Banking Officers open new deposit accounts
9. Helps Private Banking Officers with other daily tasks as assigned.
Education, Certification, License and Experience:
• College student working towards Bachelor degree in Business or related field.
Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
Strong verbal and written communications skills; proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Strong negation skills with the ability to effectively overcome client objections. Ability to effectively communicate with Private Banking Officers to help them effectively manage their book of business.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear, stand or sit for long periods of time, open filing cabinets, walk, stoop or bend, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and complete tasks requiring manual dexterity. Ability to drive a vehicle for travel is required for the position.
