As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will be responsible for assessments, treatments, and clinical recommendations of patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Some of your primary responsibilities will include:
- Meeting all service standards for exceptional customer service delivery by telephone or in-person
- Administering patient care services selected and delegated by the Occupational Therapist regarding speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Participating in educating the patient and family
- Participating in preparation of clinical and progress notes
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the community
- Supporting the agency administration and missions and acting as a positive team member

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as a COTA
- Licensed in the state in which practicing
