Our cases are ever-changing, but here's a list of most case types:
- Private duty nursing: We work with families across Northeast Ohio to provide nursing services in the home. In many cases we are working with families who require 24/7 nursing services for their loved one, in some cases we provide services for a few hours per visit, and everything in between. Acuity of care varies from medication management to vent management and trach care.
- Infusions: We work with patients who choose to be infused at home. We infuse a variety of medications from antibiotics to IVIG.
- Wound care: We have patients who need wound care in the home from dressing changes to wound vac management.
- Hospice nursing: We work with various hospice companies to provide staffing and fill continuous care and medication administration shifts.
- School nursing: We work with multiple schools across Northeast Ohio to provide nursing staff to fill their school clinics or provide 1-on-1 care to students during the school day.
- Other: Various other types such as admission assessments, medication management, head-to-toe assessments and recertifications, etc.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act - Ohio Revised Code (ORC) of clinical practice
- Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgment and critical thinking
- Prepare clinical and progress notes and summaries of care
- Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
- Document observed changes in patient's condition, situation, or care environment, and communicate to the Clinical Director
- Proactively update client/patients' family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
- Adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment
Job Requirements
- Current unrestricted / unencumbered license in the State of Ohio
- Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
- Minimum one (1) years of documented clinical experience. Private duty, home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required)
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Up to date vaccinations, including COVID and flu
