Physical Therapy Assistant
We are searching for a PRN PTA. The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Director of Rehabilitation in providing approved therapy treatments to appropriate residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, Director of Rehabilitation, and the Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:
 
·         Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
·         Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
·         Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
·         Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
·         Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
·         Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
·         Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
·         Consult and practice with other health professionals
·         Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
·         Document patient care services
 

Skills:
 
·         Proven work experience/background as a physical therapist assistant
·         Intensive education and clinical expertise
·         Current knowledge of treatment practices
·         Drive to continually learn and grow
·         Professional behavior
·         Excellent interpersonal communication skills
·         Valid PTA license
·         Associates Degree for assistant position
