Seeking an experienced litigation paralegal. We are a boutique probate and fiduciary litigation and estate administration firm with a high level of legal knowledge in trust, estates, and probate law. We represent trust beneficiaries, estate beneficiaries, trustees, executors, guardians, and limited partners in a myriad of fiduciary disputes and litigation, including, but not limited to, breach-of-fiduciary duty claims against trustees, will contests, and fiduciary-related disputes against business entities.
As a litigation paralegal, you will assist partners and other attorneys in managing cases from beginning to end, including, but not limited to, drafting motions and pleadings for review by attorneys, preparing and responding to discovery requests, and assisting with client communications and new client intake.
Responsibilities:
Document preparation for estate planning with supervision by attorneys;
Drafting correspondence
Sorting, scanning, and filing mail for client files organization of all client files
Client contact and communication
Maintaining active case lists
The successful candidate should possess prior work experience in a fast-paced, professional atmosphere and have a positive attitude and enthusiasm. Ability to successfully manage priorities is essential.
Candidates must have poise and excellent communication skills; be meticulous, accurate, and have extraordinary organizational skills; be able to multi-task and must be highly motivated; and exhibit initiative.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience plus benefits which includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, parking paid by the firm and paid vacation. Discretionary bonus potential based on individual performance.
