A Florida Registered Paralegal is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered. Bilingual candidates a plus.

We are on the hunt for a talented, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on complex and diverse cases, providing critical support to our skilled attorneys. The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal writing, fiduciary matters, legal research, and court hearings through the probate and estate planning process.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Paralegal, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
2. Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
3. Assisting in the preparation for court hearings, trials, and corporate meetings.
4. Maintaining and managing client files, legal filing systems, and case management systems.
5. Communicating effectively with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys, including those who may speak a different language.
6. Performing fiduciary duties, including managing trusts and estates, and handling financial transactions.
7. Coordinating and managing schedules, meetings, and deadlines.
8. Providing administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a probate/trusts & estates paralegal; preferably working with high net worth individuals
2. A bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, or a related field.
3. A paralegal certification is preferred.
4. Proficiency in legal research software and legal databases.
5. Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
6. Experience with fiduciary matters and court hearings.
7. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
8. Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
10. A high level of professionalism and integrity.
