About the Job
Preferred are those with previous experience in endoscopy, conscious sedation, and/or ambulatory surgery. Responsible for the care of the patient during endoscopy and other procedures, and pre-and post-procedure care. Will assist the physician during procedures. Acts as patient advocate for a broad range of people with varied ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. Responsible for assisting in sedation, monitoring patients, relaying aftercare instruction. Must be ready to respond appropriately in the event of a medical emergency. Will provide other medical care when not assisting with procedures. Schedule expectation: working a minimum of 6, 10-hour shifts per month . Hiring range is between $43.60-$52.50/hour and placement in the range is dependent on evaluation of experience. ***5% On-Call Differential Available***
Requirements
- Active unencumbered Washington RN license and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. ( active Washington license within 60 days of hire or transfer if use multi-state licensure required ).
- Current BLS for healthcare provider CPR certification required.
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of one-year experience as a nurse.
- Prefer those with experience in an ASC, endoscopy suite, and experience with conscious sedation.
- Prefer those with EHR experience, EPIC experience strongly preferred.
** On Call is not eligible for benefits and there is n o guarantee of hours. On-Call requires some time full-time on-site training!
Pay Range:
$39.83 - $59.75

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
