Job Summary
This position is responsible for the overall development, implementation and management of PSEG Long Island’s supplier Sourcing Processes (including those related to Supplier Diversity) and compliance with those processes.
Job Responsibilities
• Assure sourcing processes address compliance requirements, are documented, current and accessible
• Ensure efficient and effective process & compliance training is available and completed by employees as appropriate on a routine basis
• Monitor and mitigate non-compliance
• Lead and respond as Procurement contact for all internal and external audits (Including SOX). Own the process for implementation/completion of corrective-actions identified through internal / external audits.
• Implement process controls including self-assessments and monitoring reports
• Support the business with the use of procurement technology (SAP, Ariba, CLM, PowerAdvocate, ITS)
• Lead the Business Continuity program for PSEG Long Island including management and implementation of business continuity program plans and interruption assessment documents
• Lead the submission of the NY state comptroller report, a regulatory report submitted twice a year in a timely manner
• Oversee the development and roll-out of continuous improvement projects / strategic initiatives in collaboration with the procurement Center of Excellence
• Provide process advice for corporate-wide process and compliance programs.
• Lead the focus on, and attainment of business goals and objectives for the group.
• Develop and maintain an environment that promotes high productivity.

Job Specific Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years relevant business experience; in lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant business experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and / or category management
• Experience with ERP systems and particularly SAP.
• Experience with eRFx platforms and technology solutions that support Procurement processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft office and analytical tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to build effective relationships with all stakeholders
• Able to provide leadership and direction to diverse teams
• Able to translate high-level strategy into workable goals
• Able to produce and improve results against company objectives.
• Conflict management skills
Desired Qualifications:
• Graduate / Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD)
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or other professional certifications in related areas.
• Knowledge of State Supplier Diversity programs (Minority & Women-owned Business Enterprises, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses, Equal Employment Opportunity)
• Experience in the utilities services industry
• Leadership experience in assuring procurement compliance with applicable processes and laws.
