What We Are Looking For:
We’re looking for a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our talented cross-functional team that develops innovative botanical ingredients for our beauty and nutrition products. In this role, you will be at the forefront of guiding process development activities, from lab-scale research through pilot plant trials to full-scale manufacturing. You will work closely with partners across Farms, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Product Development to ensure seamless process execution and quality outcomes.
Your work will focus on process development, troubleshooting issues, and implementing changes to meet high-quality standards. You will also develop and document manufacturing instructions, collaborating with formulation scientists and cross-functional teams to ensure successful scale-up. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science and nature, making an impact on a global scale.
In the next six months, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our capabilities in botanical ingredient development. Your efforts will help bring new products to market, enhancing customer experiences and driving company growth. You'll also be instrumental in scaling up novel processes involving cutting-edge technologies, like sonication machines and fermentation techniques. This is a blended role, with 20% of your time being spent in the Pilot Lab focusing on trials and experiments and 80% of your time working with manufacturing to scale up the processes and resolving production challenges.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in process development within the nutrition, food, pharma, or beauty industries
- Specific experience with botanical ingredients and consumer supplement products is highly desirable
- Experience in root cause investigation and issue resolution
- Experience in formulation development
- Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and driving continuous improvement
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, with successful partnerships that deliver on strategic goals

- Technical Expertise: Ability to scale up formulations and processes from the lab and pilot plants to full-scale production, ensuring alignment with quality standards.

- Communication: Strong ability to explain complex processes and translate trials into actionable manufacturing instructions.
