Our client is seeking a skilled Process Engineer who will provide technical support across all operational, maintenance, and thermal process aspects associated with the combustion systems in industrial furnaces. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our combustion systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and support for combustion systems within the industrial furnaces at the Rolling Mill.
• Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of combustion-related issues, implementing effective solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of combustion systems with overall process operations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for combustion equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform regular inspections and audits of combustion systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing combustion efficiency, reducing emissions, and improving energy utilization.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies related to combustion systems, recommending innovations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science.
• 2+ years of experience in the pipe/steel industry preferred or relevant experience in a related industry.
• Solid understanding of combustion principles, heat transfer, and thermal processes.
• Proficiency in process modeling, simulation, and optimization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic industrial setting.
