Searching for a Process Engineer to join our growing Naperville, IL office! Being responsible for providing consulting services, advice, and assistance to client firms on process and equipment involving process systems and unit operations.
This role in 100% on site and does not offer any hybrid opportunities.

SCOPE:
- Development of P&ID drawings and process design for major and minor detailed engineering projects.
- Ability to create mass and energy balances for projects and studies.
- Lead or assist as requested in analyzing and defining project scope, estimated cost, and technical aspects of a project in accordance with the client and our specifications.
- Perform field surveys in preparation for design.
- Prepare drawings, purchase specifications, schedules, operation manuals, and related construction details for projects.
- Support field installation, checkout, and start-up of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
- Displays ability to troubleshoot process-related issues during startups or mill visits.
- Participate and lead client and project team meetings as required.
- Assist the Project Engineer in performing administrative tasks as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must possess and display in-depth knowledge and experience in process-related industries as it pertains to the operation and design of the facilities.
- Experience and knowledge should allow for independent decision-making concerning process design and project development.
- Must possess a college degree in Chemical Engineering.
