Process Engineer II - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Process Engineer II to join a CRO in the Frederick, MD area. The Process Engineer II will be responsible for method writing and executing downstream processes.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer II:

• Execute downstream processes independently such as; AKTA chromatography, Unicorn, TFF, UFDF
• Responsible for method writing using AKTA systems
• Perform large-scale and small-scale nucleic acid extractions (DNA, RNA) and perform testing for virus characterization
• Accurately document using ALCOA+

Qualifications of the Process Engineer II:

• 1+ years of professional experience executing downstream manufacturing processes
• Method writing experience required
• Bachelor's degree in science related field

Compensation of the Process Engineer II:

• Between $60,000 - $80,000 annually based on years of relevant experience
