In addition, you will also work cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering to launch new product designs.

Client Overview

-With 9 manufacturing facilities in the US where working safely is put first
Position Overview
-“Own” the manufacturing process and work with corporate engineering on manufacturing pilots and trials to support new product launches or new process designs
-Work with manufacturing to troubleshoot and solve production problems
-Assist manufacturing engineering with projects as required
-Write and maintain production work instructions
-Maintain PFMEAs and assist quality in maintenance of control plans
-Assist in manufacturability studies with corporate engineering and production engineering teams
Candidate Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
-Ability to read 2D blueprints and 3D models
-Experience with 2D drafting and 3D modeling
-Familiarity with line balancing, work measurement and cost justification techniques
-Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles
-Strong communication and organizational skills.
