POSITION SUMMARY: The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical oversight and project management for Capital and non-Capital projects related to Operations, Maintenance and Integrity. Typical projects consist of meter installation, well-connections, regulated and non-regulated pipeline installation, compressor station installation, amine treating plant installation, glycol dehydration plant installation, cryogenic plant installation, management of PSM activities, and supporting various optimization efforts across all facilities. Position responsibility includes control over and accountability for: design, maintenance, safety, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, customer service, construction and optimization. Presents a positive and professional image to customers, employees, peers, and the public.

- Provide ongoing technical and project management support for assigned AFE’s and Operations management.
- Ensure that operational projects are completed safely, in compliance with all regulatory requirements, on time and on budget.
- Develop operating budgets, capital budgets, and manage expenditures to stay within approved limits.
- Facilitates and shares best practices. Provides follow-up on benefits gained by sharing best practices. Provides documentation of best practices outside of the company to asset leadership.
- Serves as a liaison to EHS, PSM, Compliance, and other Operations support functions.
- Provide project justification, economics, and alternatives analyses as required.
- Assists with reviewing company policies and procedures and makes recommendations for revision based upon best practices.
- Collaborates with local asset leadership and Commercial group to grow the asset.
- Close coordination with day-to-day operations of gas plants and gas treatment facilities with the perspective of helping to optimize the performance of the operations and support operational needs and changes as requested.
- Develop scopes and estimates for various plant related projects.
- Provide project execution plans, strategies, budget, schedules, bid, and construction execution for assigned projects.
- Pursue continued professional development in understanding of gas plant treatment and processing, as well as operations and maintenance needs for the plants, to assist Operations with improving overall reliability, run-time, and operational excellence.
- Develop plant simulation software modeling using ProMax.
- Provide “boots on ground” assistance at new construction sites assisting in the overall project management and execution processes.
- Lead in plant PHA’s, Cause and Effect reviews, Process Safety Information updates, P&ID updates, and total engineering support for resolution of issues associated with the OSHA regulated Management of Change process.
- Adheres to company policies and safety procedures in all phases of job performance.
- Adheres to all Federal, State and County regulations concerning environmental protection.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, co-workers, executive management, Momentum joint venture partners, Momentum clients, federal agencies, the public, and others.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Process/Chemical Engineering strongly preferred. Other disciplines will be considered provided proof of process engineering experience is clearly identified.
- Minimum three to seven years’ experience as a process engineer/project engineer
- Preferred familiarity with pipeline, compression, and natural gas industry
- Specific and current experience with API 520 and 521 requirements
- Specific and current experience with ProMax modeling for amine treating, glycol dehydration, and cryogenic gas processing systems and equipment
- Proof of completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or completion of FE within 1 year of employment (condition of employment)
- Must pass pre-employment drug test, and will be subject to random, for-cause and post-accident drug testing, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable under company’s vehicle insurance policy. Must pass pre-employment background check.
