About the role

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Engineer with expertise in refinery operations. The ideal candidate will lead our operational strategies, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance while driving innovation in carbonyl processes.

What you"ll do

• Oversee all aspects of refinery operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Utilize expertise in carbonyl engineering, including distillation, to develop and improve processes related to carbonyl compounds in refinery operations.
• Collaborate with research and development teams to drive innovation and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental stewardship.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the company"s competitive position and market presence.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in refinery operations, with a deep understanding of process optimization, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in carbonyl engineering, including distillation, with a strong track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions.
• Experience in a leadership role, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Professional engineering license (PE) preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
