Reporting to the Production Manager, the Process Engineer standardizes processes supported by engineering specifications, procedures, and standard operational procedures with a strong focus on Continuous Improvement to support the industrialization and maturity of Norsk Titanium's technology.
In a typical day, your expertise:
- Leads cross functional processes and projects
- Industrializes technology and processes
- Develops and establishes systems, tools, and methods
- Standardizes and documents all processes, systems, and work tasks
- Supports roll-out of technology, processes, and production concept
- Leads and runs RCCA, FMEA and other improvement workshops
- Establishes, standardize, and documents processes while continuously improving our QMS Systems, tools and resources to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of these systems
- Partners cross-functionally to implement new technologies that support additive manufacturing
- Establishes practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature capabilities for the organization
- Liaises with other functional groups and/or vendors to ensure timelines, budgets and objectives are met
- Promotes a culture or continuous improvement; plans and performs improvements to increase profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required for the successful operation of business
- Adheres to and promotes applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations, as well as Security Guidelines
This position will have access to technology and/or software source code that is subject to U.S. export controls. U.S. person as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
Were thrilled to find candidates with:
- BSc or MSc in Manufacturing or related field
- 3+ years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a startup environment
- Ability to direct goal-oriented activities of a matrixed organization
- Fluent mastery of English language
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and solutions
- Strong understanding of Automation and Semi-Automation production processes, equipment, and quality control
- Experience in and knowledge of Change Management best-practices preferred
- Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology preferred

Physical Requirements:
- The ability to sit in front of a computer for 8 or more hours daily
- The ability to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and controls, to operate a computer and telephone keypad
- Good vision (20/40) with or without corrective devices
- The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate
