POSITION SUMMARY
The Process Mechanical Intern will assist in the construction and management of specialized mechanical systems used in various industries, including chemical processing and bio-pharmaceuticals. This role provides a hands-on learning experience in the field of process mechanical contracting.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Process Mechanical Intern will assist in the construction and management of specialized mechanical systems used in various industries, including chemical processing and bio-pharmaceuticals. This role provides a hands-on learning experience in the field of process mechanical contracting.
DELIVERABLES
- Gain knowledge of different types of piping systems and materials.
- Participate in cost estimation, purchasing, and project tracking.
- Develop an understanding of mechanical system diagrams and construction processes through site visits and hands-on activities.
- Introduce and familiarize yourself with various piping systems, including carbon steel, copper, and Teflon-lined pipes.
- Observe and participate in the assembly of mechanical components, such as pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks.
- Learn to read and interpret project diagrams and drawings.
- Assist in estimating project costs through material take-offs and sourcing quotes.
- Coordinate and track deliveries of materials and equipment for ongoing projects.
- Pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn about specialty mechanical systems.
- Interest in construction and hands-on problem-solving.
- Willingness to engage in fieldwork and collaborate with team members.
