Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and oversee machine processes, making necessary adjustments for optimal efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze all aspects of injection molding processes, ensuring smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process problems, addressing any non-conformity issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the Molding Process Engineer in the setup and startup of new tools and resins for trial.
- Follow safety protocols, adhere to quality standards, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, reporting any equipment malfunctions to the Process Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum three years of injection molding experience, with a strong background in processing plastics and setting tools.
- Knowledge of automation systems and controls.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficient in performing work below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis.
- Good vision at a close distance is required, and the ability to climb stairs is necessary.
Preferences:
- Coursework related to injection molding.
- Experience with crane operation, robotics, and injection molding machines.
